Explorer Adventures
Explorer Adventures inspires the next generation of innovators with hands-on summer experiences for rising 4th-8th graders. With six weekly day trips in July and August, Explorers experience what professionals do, from investigating robotics with engineers at NASA to exploring agricultural science with master gardeners. Each excursion ignites their imaginations and inspires them to see themselves making a difference in the world."

Great Explorations connects Explorers with Professional Expert Witnesses who bring real-world experience to interactive workshops. These accomplished professionals share their expertise and equip students with the tools they need to achieve their educational and life goals.
Brayboy Scholars
The Brayboy Scholars Program provides comprehensive support to Explorers in grades 11-12 as they pursue their higher education goals. This exclusive program, available only to current Explorers, guides students through every step of the college admissions process, from completing applications to securing funding. Explorers achieve the distinguished designation of Brayboy Scholar by fulfilling the following requirements:
- Gaining acceptance into a 2-year or 4-year college/university, career training/apprentice program, or military service
- Traveling with Explorer Adventures for at least two summer seasons
- Participating in 5 or more LIFE 101 modules
- Securing at least $5,000 in education scholarships
The Brayboy Scholars Program honors the memory of Jacqueline Brayboy, a passionate friend of Great Explorations from its inception. Jackie believed deeply in the power of strong family relationships, lifelong learning, and accessible education—keys, she knew, to unlocking countless opportunities. A devoted wife, nurturing mother, and exceptional teacher, Jackie's legacy lives on through this program, which empowers Explorers to build lives of purpose and fulfillment.
